Surathkal: A teenager suffered a heart attack while getting ready for school and later died on Monday morning.

The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Hasim (17), son of Abdul Rehman and a resident of Krishnapura 7th block.

Hasim, who was getting ready in the morning, suddenly felt dizzy and collapsed. His family immediately rushed him to the nearest hospital. He was declared brought dead by doctors. However, unwilling to accept this, the family shifted him to a private hospital in Mukka.

Post-mortem-confusion

There was confusion about conducting an autopsy. The hospital insisted about conducting a post mortem examination, however, the family was opposed to this. Later former MLA Mohiuddin Bava intervened and made necessary arrangements for the boy’s funeral.
