‘Karavali Janapada Jaathre’ to be held on February 28

Mangaluru: ‘Karavali Janapada Jaathre’ organized by District unit of Karnataka Janapada Parishad will be held on February 28 at Town Hall
Speaking to the reporters here, District unit general secretary Lakshmish Suvarna, said, “A procession of Karavali Janapada Jaathre, will be carried out from Nehru Maidan to Town Hall and it will be inaugurated by mayor Diwakar Pandeshwar. Also, the exhibition will be inaugurated by deputy commissioner Dr K V Rajendra”
Minister for Kannada and Culture Aravind Limbavali will inaugurate the formal function and will be presided over by Thimmegowda
District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary, Minister for fisheries S Angara, and MP Nalin Kumar Kateel will release Tulu novel Madheera written by Lakshmish Shetty
On this occasion, Tulu folk scholars Bannanje Babu Amin, Mahendranath Salethur and K K Pejawara will be felicitated. Also, cultural events and Tulunada Vaibhava will be held
