Ullal: Police arrest chain snatcher

Ullal: Konaje police officials have arrested a person accused of snatching chain from a woman’s neck while she was bringing woods from the field near her house.

The arrested has been identified as Irshad (23), a resident of Panil.

Shambhavi, a resident of Boliyar, had gone to collect wood from the field near her house when Irshad came from behind and snatched her chain.

After his arrest, the police learnt that Irshad was recently released from jail on bail in an attempt to rape case.
