Kadaba: Officials of a forest patrol squad raided the house of a person who had recently filed a complaint against illegal tree felling and trading activities in the Aituru reserve forest.

Sandhya, a forest official from Mangaluru and 15 other officials entered the house of complainant Prasad and searched the house.

It was reported that forest officials allegedly involved in the smuggling of trees were amongst them who raided Prasad’s house.

House members have also complained that the officials carried away old wooden planks that they had stored in their attic.
