Puttur: 2 labourers killed after mound of mud caves in

Puttur: In a shocking incident at Panaje village in Puttur, two workers were killed after a mound of mud fell on them while they were trying to close a chicken waste pit, on Thursday, March 4.
The deceased workers have been identified as Ravi and Babu, belonging to the age group of 35-40 years old.
The workers were trying to fix the pipeline meant for poultry waste disposal when they fell into a pit. As the JCB was working nearby, the soil it had dug fell into the pit, suffocating the workers.
The Sampya Police are investigating the case.
