BJP leaders are fake Gau Rakshaks: Kavita Sanil

Mangaluru: Former city Mayor Kavita Sanil on Saturday slammed the district administration for demolishing a Goshala in Kenjar thereby leaving more than 300 cows shelterless.
“BJP leaders are fake Gau Rakshaks. Where are those people who talk about Hindutva and Cows?,” questioned Sanil.
Likening the Goshala to a temple Sanil said the demolition of the Goshala is similar to the demolition of a temple.
She further said BJP leaders perform Gau pooja just to garner votes during the Elections. Ministers themselves have instructed the officials to demolish the Goshala in the KDP meeting
Although there were issues with the land, officials should have done alternate arrangements for the cows before the demolition, she added
Hitting out at Prabhakar Bhat, Sanil said Bhat says that one need not steal cows as he will give it to the Muslims at half rate. What is the relation between Prabhakar Bhat and cow stealing Muslims? If Congress would be in power now, BJP supporters would have protested and there would be riots.
No need to change the place for Coast Guard training academy, let them make temporary arrangements, she opined.
