Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, has put up for auction his first-ever tweet, “just setting up my twttr.”

Though the tweet was offered for sale in December, it only gained wide attention after Dorsey tweeted about it.

The tweet is offered on a website called ‘Valuables by Cent’ where famous tweets are auctioned similar to autographed baseball cards.

A short while after Dorsey tweeted about having listed his first tweet for sale, its auction price increased to $88,888.88 on the Valuables website.

The buyer of the tweet will get a digital certificate that will include the metadata of the tweet.

Dorsey’s original tweet, however, will be available on the Twitter website.
