Mangaluru: 14 people arrested in two separate cases of Matka gambling

Mangaluru: Police officials have arrested  14 people in two separate cases of Matka gambling in Mangaluru.

It is said that 11 out of 14 arrested were involved in Matka gambling in a lodge in the city.

The accused are identified as Akshay, Guruprasad, Shashikumar, Asif , Ashok D’ Souza, Basheer, Kashinath, Suresh, Rajashekar, Anilkumar and Sudhakar Sanil

Police officials seized items worth Rs 1,29,000 including Rs 38,000 cash, 11 mobile phones, plastic table and chairs from the arrested

In another case, police officials arrested three people from Kinnigoli market, Talipadi village, Mulki and seized  items worth Rs 39,410 including Rs 28,410 cash and three mobile phones.

The arrested are identified as  Rajesh, Ganesh and Srinivas
