Bengaluru: Former minister Ramesh Jarkiholi held a news conference today for the first time since the release of the sleaze CD allegedly showing him.
“This CD is completely fake. I am innocent. There are 2+3+4 who do not tolerate my rise in politics. I will cooperate with the investigation,” Jarkiholi said.
“The CD was made four months ago. My brother had asked me twice about it through Nagaraj. Our party leadership had called me 26 hours before and informed me about the CD. The told me to be brave and said that they will fight this according to the law,” he said.
“I met the chief minister that morning and told him, ‘Would I have visited Goddess Chamundi if I had done such a thing? Please help me,” he added.
“This is a big conspiracy. I know their name but will not reveal them. This is a very sensitive issue. The conspiracy was hatched in two places of Bengaluru – Yeshwantpur and Hulimavu. One place is on the fourth floor and another on the fifth floor,” he alleged.
“I will not leave those who plotted against me. I will not care how powerful they are or how much is spent. I will get them imprisoned,” Jarkiholi said.
“My family’s dignity is more important to me than politics. I support all the information given to me by my brother Balachandra. The young woman was not given fifty lakhs but five crores and two plots of land,” Jarkiholi said.
