Punjalkatte: Barrier wall of the historically famous Mahatobhara Sri Karinjeshwara Temple which had collapsed due to torrential rainfall last year has been rebuilt.
As per sources, the devotees helped the temple authorities in building the wall.
The barrier wall of the historical Mahotabhara Karinjeshwara temple in the taluk had collapsed in two-day long incessant rain on October 14. The wall raised out of stones on the left side of the temple had collapsed and the damage was noticed by the temple staff in the morning.
The interlocks of the courtyard adjacent to the wall where monkeys are being fed had come out and this issue also has been fixed.
Mahatobhara Sri Karinjeshwara Temple is constructed on a huge rock on the hill and has a history of ages.
