Kalaburagi: Woman commits suicide along with son, case booked against husband for torture

Kalaburagi: A woman committed suicide along with her 9-year-old son due to alleged mental harassment by her husband.

The deceased identified as Suchita (34) and Vineet (9) were found hanging using a saree.

It has been alleged that Suchitra’s husband Jagadeesh who is an assistant manager at the bank in the city, mentally harassed Suchitra.

The couple’s son Vineet was speech impaired and Jagadeesh tortured his wife that she gave birth to a mentally ill child.

The police suspect that Suchitra committed suicide along with the child for the very same reason.

Suchitra’s parents, who are residents of Belgaum rushed to the place. Suchitra’s father has registered a case regarding the death of his daughter and grandson at M B Nagar police station.
