Mangaluru: BJP Minister S Angara visited the residence of Preksha, who was found hanging dead under suspicious circumstances at Kumpala Ashraya Colony.
Preksha who was supposed to leave for a modelling assignment to Bengaluru had been found with a noose around her neck. Locals however suspect that she was murdered by three youths who were seen visiting her house on that day.
Shockingly, a shopkeeper who informed police about the youths has been threatened and stones were pelted at the residence of a Mohan Shetty who voiced suspicion of involvement of ganja addicts in her murder. Meanwhile, Preksha’s father Chitthaprasad said that she killed herself fearing the threat of ganja addicts of the colony.
According to sources, Preksha has reportedly recorded her suicide act, and once this video is analysed the reason for her resorting to suicide will be known.
District BJP chief secretary Sathish Kumpala told Angara about the ganja menace in the area. Preksha’s parents have urged the city police commissioner and minister Angara to take strict action against the culprits.
