Bengaluru: Reacting to KPCC president D K Shivakumar’s remarks that there is a conspiracy to drag his name into the Ramesh Jarkiholi CD scandal, JD(S) leader H D Kumaraswamy wondered why the former has dragged himself into the CD row by saying that the BJP had made attempts to fix him in the case.”.

On Sunday, Shivakumar told reporters that he has not seen the CD and hinted at a systematic conspiracy to drag his name in the issue.

Speaking to reporters in Mysuru, the former chief minister said that there was an allegation that a ‘mahanayaka’ (a great leader) had hatched a conspiracy against Jarkiholi.

“No one has mentioned Shivakumar’s name. A ‘mahanayaka’ is emerging in BJP itself. Being a senior politician, I wonder why Shivakumar linking himself with the case,” Kumaraswamy said.
