CD Case: Have nothing to do with the case, was just helping the woman, says accused journo

Bengaluru:  One of the key accused in Ramesh Jarkiholi CD Case, Former journalist Naresh has claimed that he has nothing to do with the case and that he was just helping the woman seek justice

In a video released by him on Thursday, Naresh said that he has nothing to do with the CD case and that there is a huge conspiracy against him.

He further said, the woman contacted me and asked for my help as I am a journalist. I asked her to bring evidence after which I got busy with my work. After few days, she came to the naming ceremony of my baby with her friends. As many diginataries from BJP and JDS party were present at the function, we clicked photos together

I am in a financial crisis.  As claimed by Ramesh  Jarkiholi, I have not taken crores of money from anyone.  If proven guilty, I am ready to face the consequences, he said

In the entire case, Ramesh Jarkiholi has been shown as a victim and the woman has been shown as the accused, this is not right. We need to support the women, he opined

He also said that he will meet the investigating officers soon with concerned documents and proof.
