More than 20 MLAs ask CM to convene BJP legislative party meet

Bengaluru: Amid the growing unrest within the state BJP, more than 20 MLAs led by Renukacharya have asked Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa to convene legislative party meet

The decision was taken after a meeting held in Assembly on Thursday, March 18.  CM Yeddiyurappa has advised the MLAs to come to  his official residence on Thursday evening.

In the meeting, several MLAs raised objections regarding the statements made by MLA Basanagowda Patil Yatnal. They have demanded strict action against him and have also decided to write a letter on this regard to BJP State President Nalin Kumar Kateel and party’s National President J P Nadda

There was also discussion regarding the sanction of funds to their respective constituencies which has hindered development.
