Kolkata woman takes father out on dinner, gets him drunk and sets him on fire

Kolkota: A 22-year-old woman has been arrested for allegedly killing her father in Kolkata.

It is said that said she took him for dinner to a restaurant and got him drunk, after which they took a stroll and when he fell asleep while resting on a bench, she poured kerosene on him and set him on fire.  Police said it was caught on CCTV.

During the interrogation, the woman claimed that after her mother died when she was a child, her father started physically assaulting her and also used to torture her emotionally. However, the torture stopped after she got married. But, as her marriage broke off and she returned home, the torture started again on her.
