Bengaluru: Two drunk teens and a 20-year-old student went berserk and damaged more than 15 vehicles around 7 pm on Tuesday, March 23 in Chennammanakere Achukattu, South Bengaluru
On hearing the commotion, the residents came out of their houses. They claim that the patrolling by the police was poor in the inner lanes, which is why the miscreants dared to vandalise their properties
The three were traced by the police on Wednesday, March 24. It is said that the two teenagers were traced to their residence near Yediyur Lake and the student identified as Arjun was traced to his Katriguppe residence.
It is said that the student was taken into custody and the two minors were handed to the Government Observation Home for Boys in Madiwala.
Police officials claim that the teenagers are school dropouts and are daily wage workers kids while Arjun’s father works for a private firm
Officials said that the accused claimed innocence while they were detained and confessed that they were drunk Tuesday evening. The trio said they didn’t remember damaging the vehicles. However, when CCTV footage was shown, they had no answer.
