Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister of Karnataka Siddaramaiah took to Twitter on Friday to condemn the police’s decision to file cases against Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait.
In the tweet, Siddaramaiah said, ” I condemn the decision of police to file case against farmer’s leader Rakesh Tikait. This has exposed the hidden agenda of self-proclaimed farmer’s leader Yediyurappa. I urge him to immediately withdraw all the cases against Rakesh Tikait”
“It has become a norm for BJP leaders to consider all anti-farm act protestors as criminals but the people of our country knows who the real culprits are. It is foolish on the part of BJP Karnataka leaders to think that they can control farmers by using police force,” he added

It is foolish on the part of @BJP4Karnataka leaders to think that they can control farmers by using police force.
