Mangaluru: As many as 13 buffaloes were killed after a train ran over the straying cattle near Thokur here on Wednesday late night.
As per reports, the herd of buffaloes was crossing the tracks, when the train plying from Mangalore to Surathkal rammed into them.
Hindu organizations, in cooperation with the Railway Department, arranged for the cremation of the buffaloes.
