Karim entered the Indian border at about 5 pm on April 2. He is the son of Daman Khan, a resident of Ngarparkar District in Pakistan. The Border Security Force soldiers offered him food before handing him over to the Pakistani rangers.
Contrary to this, a young man from the Barmer region who had accidentally crossed the border has been lodged in a Pakistani jail for the past several months. Gemararam has been lodged in a Pakistani jail for the past six months for accidentally crossing the border. He had accidentally crossed the barricades of Pakistan and was caught by Pakistani rangers.
