Kasargod network, drug net cracked by NCB

New Delhi: A drug network that functions under the name Kasargod Network has been detected by Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The network supplies narcotic drugs illegally to Middle Eastern countries from India.

Mohsin K P is the mastermind of this network and is currently in Qatar prison.

Reports state that every month officials at Qatar airport arrest at least 10-15  Indians on the accusation of possessing drugs with them. It was found that most of the arrested belong to the Kasargod network. The ones arrested reside in Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kerala, and Bengaluru. Through Voice Internet Protocol, they make sure to keep in touch without giving room for any suspicion.

Throughout the country, there are about 100 people working for this network and currently, this network is prevalent in places like Wayanad in Kerala, Madikeri, Mangaluru, Kodagu, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Goa, and New Delhi.

This gang is smuggling narcotics through six to seven airports of the country, such vast is the network.  The NCB officials revealed that the members of this network use various airports of south and western India to transport cocaine and other psychotropic substances which are smuggled from Jammu and Kashmir, Nepal, and Himachal Pradesh.
