Chikkaballapur: 2 dead, 1 serious after violence among family members over rented house

Chintamani: Two people were killed and one seriously injured after the fight over the rent of their house became violent.

The incident occurred on Tuesday night in the town’s Sriramnagar layout.

Brothers Anjappa and Ashwathnarayan had a fight after Anjappa objected to Ashwathnarayan not sharing the rent amount of their parent’s house with him.

As arguments heated up both attacked each other with sharp objects causing the death of Anjappa (55) and his adopted son Vishnu (14) on the spot.

A seriously injured Ashwathnarayan was admitted to a hospital in Chikkaballapur.

City police officials have inspected the house and taking further action.
