Mangaluru: Mangalore University will be holding its 39th convocation on April 10 at its Mangala hall.

Infosys Foundation’s Chairperson Dr Sudha Murthy will be delivering the keynote speech online at the convocation.

University’s chancellor Governor Vajubhai Vala and the Pro-Chancellor Higher Education Minister Dr Ashwath Narayan will not be participating in the convocation.

Only 300 students – PhD graduates, gold medal and first rank recipients – have been invited to the event in wake of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event will be streamed on the university’s social media accounts.
