Bengaluru: Amid massive spike in Covid-19 cases, State Government imposed a night curfew in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Mangaluru, Kalaburagi, Bidar, Tumkuru, Udupi, and Manipal between 10 pm – 5 am from April 10 to 20.
As per the guidelines, commercial establishments are to remain shut during the night curfew hours. However, there is no restriction on vehicular movement including vehicles providing emergency services, e-commerce delivery, and Home delivery services
Emergency medical services are also available and patients suffering from various health-related ailments and their caretakers are permitted to travel for medical treatment.
All companies that are working during night shifts are permitted to carry out their scheduled work. However, the concerned laborers or employees should be present on duty before the beginning of curfew time.
Also, Emergency shops will continue to operate during the night curfew. Permission is given for long-distance night travel by bus, train, or flight.
Passengers are allowed to travel from home to respective stations or vice versa on the basis of the official tickets in auto-rickshaw or Maxi Cabs.
