Udupi: MLA Ragupathi Bhat has requested the Chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yediyurappa to withdraw its night curfew order that was enforced in the wake of Covid-19

Raghupathi Bhat said that many religious programs have been scheduled by many temples and other religious institutions in the Udupi and Manipal. Therefore, the State government must exempt them from the night Curfew

He further stated that many events were canceled last year due to Covid-19  and the dates of the events have also been finalized.

Also, as most of the events such as Nema Kola and Yakshagana happen at night, the newly ordered curfew will hamper the conduct of these events, he added
