Kundapura: An incident where a local resident made the people reload the waste that they had dumped near a road at Gujjadi in the taluk here back into the minitruck was reported on Friday.
There are many cashew plantations on the Mullikatte-Gujjadi road and they have become an unofficial waste dumping ground causing trouble to the locals there.
On Friday, a minitruck arrived and started dumping waste at the site.
Nagaraj Maiya, a resident of Gujjadi’s Manki, saw them, stopped them and made them reload all the waste that they had already dumped before warning them never again to dump waste at that place.
