Mangaluru: Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has appealed to the striking road transport corporations’ employees to return to work now as the government will resolve their problems in the near future.
He added that it would be wrong to trouble the people of the State, already reeling under the pandemic, with further problems.
The minister said that already many have returned to work as the number of buses operating from the Mangaluru and Puttur divisions of KSRTC in the Dakshina Kannada district are increasing day by day.
“Steps are being taken to allocate more and more vehicles for KSRTC’s Mangaluru and Puttur divisions. I congratulate all those who have already returned to duty and I hope that others will join soon and support the government during these hard times,” he said.
