Mandya: Shivalinga stolen from 450-year-old temple

Mandya: A Shivalinga was stolen from a 450-year-old temple at the Hallegere village in the taluk here on the night of April 12.
The missing Shivalinga was noticed by the temple priest when he arrived at the temple on the morning of April 14.
It was reported that the robbers might have come to steal an alleged treasure hid underneath the Shivalinga as the ground near the Shivalinga was dug.
The villagers have filed a case at the Keregodu police station.
