Bengaluru: Health Minister K Sudhakar on Friday informed that various measures, including the availability of ambulances and beds, supply of oxygen and medicine were discussed in detail at an emergency meeting convened by Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa today (April 16) to review the Covid-19 situation in the state.
Stating that 95 percent of the infected persons do not require hospitalisation, Sudhakar in a tweet said, “Hospitals have been directed to treat asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic persons in makeshift Covid Care Centres in hotels to ensure availability of beds to those who need it.”
