Hassan Rave party: Mangaluru woman head constable, son under scanner

Hassan: Recently, Alur Police busted a rave party and detained over 100 youngsters from a resort on the outskirts of the city. Over 100 youths from Bengaluru and Mangaluru were arrested by the police
Now, a woman police constable and her son are under police scanner for allegedly taking part in the rave party
The woman head constable is attached to the Cyber Crime, Economic Offences and Narcotics police station in the city. It is said that her son Atul was the one who organized the rave party
Those who wish to join the party get the location through a WhatsApp message and are later issued tags at the party
Speaking to Udayavani, Hassan district superintendent of police, Dr Srinivas Gowda said, “An investigation regarding the alleged participation of a female constable in the rave party is underway. We have ordered the concerned officials to submit a detailed report in this regard”
Alur police received a tip-off regarding a party being held in a resort near Honkaravalli Taluk. On April 12 the police raided the spot and detained over 100 people.
