Mangaluru: Serial robbery at Moodbidri, Mulki, Bajpe; One more arrested

Mangaluru: One more accused has been arrested by police in connection with the recent serial robbery incidents reported in the district, which takes the total arrests to 16
The arrested has been identified as Abdul Basheer (40), a resident of Gatti House, Kedambady village, Puttur.
It is said that he is is a former member of the Kedambady gram panchayat of Puttur, he had provided financial help to the accused and also provided them with shelter and vehicles
The gang was involved in series of theft, robbery, and dacoity in the district. Gang Masterminds have now been arrested. The arrested were also involved in robberies in Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Hassan, and Bengaluru districts
