Udupi: Man slaps traffic policeman for checking vehicles

Udupi: In a shocking incident, a man has slapped a traffic policeman for checking vehicles on Saturday, April 17.
The arrested has been identified as Shivakumar Asangi (21) from Bagalkot. The incident occurred at Karavali bypass.
It is said that around 6.15 pm when the traffic police were checking vehicles, Shivakumar walked up to them and slapped SI Chandrashekhar saying they do not have any rights to check the vehicles. He further grabbed his collar and assaulted him
Locals allege that Shivakumar did not have any vehicle with him
A case has been registered at Udupi police station
