Chitradurga: Three people including a child were killed when a minitruck overturned after its driver lost control of the vehicle at the outskirts of Hiriyur town here on Monday morning.
The deceased were identified as Selvi (35), Deepika (6) and Neelamma (29).
The two women were contract labourers heading to work in the minitruck when the incident occurred.
Police officials from the Hiriyur rural police station visited the spot.
