Puttanna Kanagal’s son Ramu Kanagal dies of COVID-19

Bengaluru: Ramu Kanagal, son of late movie director Puttanna Kanagal, has died of COVID-19 infection.

Ramu was undergoing treatment in the Victoria Hospital after falling ill a few days ago.

Later, it was reported that he had tested positive for COVID-19.

He died after failing to respond to the treatment.

Ramu Kanagal had finished his schooling in Chennai. He had been running a dance school in Bengaluru by the name Kanagal Nrityalaya.

Recently he had expressed displeasure at the Kannada film industry for not inviting him and his family at the awards ceremony given in the name of Puttanna Kanagal.
