Vijayapura: Over 100 vehicles seized for violating lockdown

Vijayapura: M0re than one hundred two-wheelers, four-wheelers and autorickshaws were seized by police here for moving on the roads after 10 am on the first day of the 14-day lockdown.
Police had set up barricades in many parts of the city to check those moving unnecessarily.
Each vehicle was blocked and inspected by the police officials and all bike, autorickshaws and cars were seized after the end of the relaxation period.
Most of the vehicles seized were at the Mahatma Gandhi Circle in the city.
