Mangaluru: MIA to increase parking fees from May 1

Mangaluru: The Mangaluru International Airport here will be increasing the parking fees charged for vehicles parking in the airport premises from May 1.
In a release, the Adani Group-managed airport has announced that the parking charges for the first 30 minutes for buses will be Rs 300. Earlier it was Rs 70.
Similarly, fees for minibus, private cars, taxis and two-wheelers have been increased to Rs 200, Rs 60, Rs 90 and Rs 20 respectively for the first half-hour of parking.
The highest increase in parking fees was done in the monthly charges segment.
Additionally, fines for violating parking rules and parking time have also been increased.
