Masked pug draws attention in Puttur market

Puttur: A man who had brought his pet pug wearing a mask on his scooter received almost all the attention on Thursday at the market here.

The man was visiting the town for purchases before the start of the day’s lockdown.

He said that along with humans, animals too must be protected against the novel coronavirus and as he was bringing his pet to the crowded market he decided to mask it too.

Many shoppers and even the police officials manning the checkpoints were surprised at the sight of a dog with a mask.
