Adding some anti-fatigue foods to your everyday meals can make a huge difference to how you feel- both physically and mentally.

It is very common among the population to feel fatigued, which could be a sign to rejig your diet.

Below are a few anti-fatigue foods that will perk you up:

  • Bananas: They are delicious and highly nutritious snacks. They may boost your energy levels and performance during exercise, as well as reduce inflammation.
  • Dark Chocolate: Dark chocolate has been touted as a superfood as it is packed with cocoa flavanols. Research reveals that flavanols can lower mental fatigue and improve your mood.
  • Chia seeds: They help you boost athletic performance and give more energy.
  • Green tea: Green tea is a better alternative to cappuccino as green tea reduces fatigue and levels of stress markers, as well as improves sleep quality.
  • Quinoa: Quinoa is a perfect substitute for rice and could be a powerful anti-fatigue food. Eating quinoa could lead to a steady release of energy throughout the day.
  • Apple: Apples give you a quick burst of energy as they may help the body slow down its digestion of carbohydrates which could keep you from feeling fatigued.
