Mangaluru: For the past several years, many campaigns were organized by various NGOs and organizations to create awareness and prevent people from throwing waste into the Netravathi River. However, people often do vile things if they think they can get away with it.

Now, a duo has been caught red-handed dumping waste into the river. They were filmed by an unidentified man who noticed the car stop near the bridge and parked his car behind them

In the video, the duo can be seen throwing a plastic bag into the river without fear, despite the CCTV cameras installed on the premises

However, the vehicle has been seized and as the they were not wearing masks, they will be penalised under Disaster Management Act section 51 (b)
