Mangaluru: BJP’s State president Nalin Kumar Kateel has said that he is sure the party’s candidate in the Belagavi Lok Sabha constituency Mangala Angadi will win the byelection.

Speaking on the occasion of the vote count, Kateel added that the party has increased its national vote share as they have won in seats where they never existed.

“We did lose in Maski. Winning and losing is part of the game,” he said.

“I thank all the voters who voted for the BJP and call on all our party workers not to celebrate our party’s victory anywhere but instead go to the aid of COVID-19 patients,” he added.
