M’luru, Udupi: Twin districts record many COVID-19 guidelines violations on Monday

Mangaluru, Udupi: On Monday, May 3, hundreds of COVID-19 guidelines violations were reported from the twin districts of Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

In Dakshina Kannada district, 266 people were fined for not wearing masks while 17 vehicles were seized for overstaying the relaxation in lockdown.

Within Mangaluru city, 4 four-wheelers and 66 two-wheelers were seized after the lockdown relaxation period.

Similarly, in the Udupi district, 37 vehicles owners were fined for violating the lockdown while 3 four-wheelers and 6 two-wheelers were seized.
