Mangaluru: Amid the second wave of Covid-19, Taxi operators, and drivers who are already without income due to the lockdown have more trouble on the horizon
Being one among the worst-hit sections in the state, taxi drivers in Karnataka who had undertaken the tour of Kerala are facing the problem of payment of pending taxes.
Due to which both the Kerala and Karnataka government has put them on the blacklist for non-payment of taxes. The taxi owners cannot sell, hire or run their vehicles
Taxi drivers are also facing problems due to the recent parking fee hike at Mangaluru airport
