K’taka Cabinet meet today to consider extension of lockdown

Bengaluru: Cooperation Minister ST Somashekhar has said that in the Cabinet meet to be held at 4 pm on Tuesday, a decision will be made whether to extend the current lockdown.
Speaking to reporters, he said that the Supreme Court had advised that it would be better to extend lockdowns in the country and they will discuss the Supreme Court’s order in the meeting.
“People are crowding at the markets during the relaxation provided in the lockdown during the morning. It is required that we control this. A decision will be taken after discussion with the CM in the Cabinet meeting,” Somashekhar said.
