Udupi: Deputy Commissioner G Jagadeesha has advised the residents of the district not to allow outsiders inside their homes.
Speaking in a video posted on his Facebook account, Jagadeesha said that those who are coming from outside the district or State should undergo isolation for a few days.
“Many do not visit the hospital even when they are experiencing the symptoms of COVID-19 and do so only after their condition has worsened. ICU beds in the districts are already occupied. I appeal to all of you to get tested and if you test positive for the virus then visit the hospital and get treated,” Jagadeesha said.
