CD scandal woman back in action, demands Gokak strongman’s arrest

Bengaluru: The woman in the CD case involving former Karnataka minister Ramesh Jarkiholi has written to the city police commissioner, Kamal Pant demanding Gokak MLA’s immediate arrest.

In her letter, the woman alleged that Ramesh Jarkiholi has been offering lures to her advocates, Soorya Mukundaraj and Jagadish Kumar, and is trying to destroy evidence.

She further added that a friend of Ramesh Jarkiholi’s son, making phone calls making offers running into crores of rupees in exchange for allowing Jarkiholi to go scot-free.

Jarkiholi, who was Major and Medium Irrigation Minister in Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa-led cabinet, had resigned on March 3, a day after news channels aired videos of the alleged sex scandal.
