Puttur: The owner of a Courier company has been booked after he abused and refused to hand over the delivery package to a customer in Puttur
The accused has been identified as Raja Mavinakatte, a courier franchise owner in Bannur
The complainant identified as Dr Chethana was supposed to receive a parcel from her friends before April 19. But as it did not reach her on the said date, she decided to check online.
Chethana found that the parcel has been marked as ‘Delivered to customer’. She then rushed to the nearby franchise of the courier company and questioned the owner Raja Mavinakatte.
Raja denied the allegations and abused her, he even refused to hand over the parcel
Raja has now been booked under relevant sections of IPC
