Man designs lathi attack-proof bicycle

Thekkatte: A video showing a man coming to market on a bicycle wearing a helmet and customising a metal sheet behind the cycle seat has gone viral on social media.
The video was reportedly captured at Kumbhashi in the Kundapura taluk of the Udupi district.
The unidentified man had supposedly customised the bicycle to protect himself from lathi attacks from policemen during the lockdown relaxation period.
Karnataka government had declared a lockdown in the State till May 24 disallowing all private vehicles from moving on the roads.
Videos have been surfacing of police brutally beating motorists who are violating the lockdown rules.
