DKShi asks govt to provide financial help to poor families

Bengaluru: Former Minister and KPCC president DK Shivakumar on Tuesday, May 11 requested Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa to provide financial assistance to the needy and the poor families.

Addressing presspersons here Shivakumar said, “Our CM is asking officials to prepare for the third wave, first let him protect those people dying in the second wave.”

“BS Yediyurappa should make sure that everyone above the age of 18 is vaccinated. Most of the people have confusion about how to register themselves for COVID jab, government should come up with ideas to clear the confusion,” said Shivakumar.

He further added, “Many migrants and poor families in the state are suffering because of the lockdown imposed in the state, therefore I request the government to provide financial help to such poor families.”

“Farmers are also facing many problems, Agriculture minister should speak to them and resolve their problems as well,” urged KPCC president.
