Min Sudhakar visits DRDO’s B’luru facility, holds discussions on 2-DG medicine

Bengaluru: Health and medical education minister K Sudhakar visited the office of the director of Defense Research and Development Organisation (ECS) at CV Raman Nagar here on Friday.
He held discussions with Director J Manjula, DEBEL’s Director Dr UK Singh, LRDE’s Director P Radhakrishna and Estate Manager JDG Prasad Raju over the 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) medicine developed by DRDO.
Sudhakar also held discussions on the makeshift hospital and oxygenation plant to be set up by the organisation.
Senior officials of the state government: Health Department Commissioner Trilok Chandra, Director Omprakash Patil, Drugs Controler Amaresh Pillai and District Medical Officer Srinivas were present during the discussions.
