Temple desecration: Broken bottle pieces found thrown inside Shree Brahma Baidarkala Garodi at Bantwal

Punjalkatte: In another incident of desecration of Hindu places of worship, broken glass bottle pieces were found thrown inside the Shree Brahma Baidarkala Garodi at Pandavarakallu within Badagakajekaru gram panchayat limits in the Bantwal taluk.

The incident came to light on the night of May 14.

The Garodi consists Sri Kodhamanitaya, Sri Pilichamundi and the Brahma Baidarkala temple.

Miscreants had thrown the glass pieces in all three temples.

The temple’s managing committee registered a complaint at the local police station on May 15.

The committee said that a special pooja will be conducted on May 16 to purify the temple.
